Pete was inducted into the Shrewsbury High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991.
He passed away in Graceville, Florida on December 8, 2001 at the age of 62.
Pete Perreault
Peter Wayne Perreault was born on March 1, 1939 in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. He attended Shrewsbury High School, Cheshire Academy and Boston University, where he was the team captain during his senior year. After college he played nine seasons of professional football as a guard and linebacker. [1]
He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers and traded one year later to the New York Jets where he played from 1963 through 1967. In 1968 he played for the Cincinnati Bengals, but returned to the Jets in 1969. He finished his football career with the Minnesota Vikings in 1971. [2]
